Event Description
Run the Race 5K is a Christian Fun Run & Walk designed to facilitate fellowship and promote fitness. The proceeds from this family friendly race will help to support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
All participants will be chip timed and will receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal, mystery gift, registration goody bag, free raffle entry, and free samples. One random, lucky runner will receive "Super Swag," a gift worth more than the cost of registration.
Runners and walkers of all skill levels and ages are encouraged to participate.
This day of fun starts with a lively Christian music and awesome vendors. Then, we have a certified Zumba instructor lead our warmup to get your blood flowing. Right before the race starts, we’ll lift up His name is praise and prayer, asking for the strength to give our all.
Once the horn sounds, you’ll be off to run along the beautiful Seminole/Wekiva Trail. As you sweat, push, and grind your way to that finish line you’ll find joyful volunteers keeping you hydrated. And if you start losing steam, glance at one of the many inspirational signs throughout the course; reminding you that you can do all things through Christ!
Finally, you’ll cross through those archways with your hands raised -for the victory shall be yours! We’ll place a cool, custom medal around your neck and snap a picture.
We invite you to run with your family and friends and to make new friends on race day. Then, stick around for our free kids race and raffle prize announcements.
This is an event like none other! Come laugh, sweat, and worship with us this Easter Weekend in Orlando! You’ll leave feeling mentally, physically, and spiritually rejuvenated!
***The church with the most registered members will receive a donation from JohnJohn Sports!!! Just create a team for your church on the registration site and have church members join your team. Leader updates will be periodically sent out via email.
