Event Description
USA Triathlon's NCAA program is thriving. With 30 current programs, institutions are finding triathlon is a great additions to their varsity sport's menus. In an effort to support recruitment needs, USAT has established junior high/high school combines around the U.S. Our focus is to expose young women to the sport and help our institutions with recruitment.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
If the athlete is under the age of 18, a parent/guardian MUST register the athlete. The parent/guardian information goes under 'YOUR INFORMATION' and then the athlete’s information is completed under 'Participant #1' information.
Event details and schedule
8 a.m. – 8:20 a.m. Athlete check-in, head shots, number assignment
8:20 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Athlete and parent welcome
8:30 a.m. – 8:40 a.m. Transition to pool deck
8:40 a.m. – 9:40 a.m. Swim warm-up followed by 100 yard benchmark swim
9:40 a.m. – 10 a.m. Transition to track
10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Run warm-up followed by 1600 meter benchmark run
11 a.m. - 12 p.m. NCAA discussion, Q&A, next steps
