Event Description

As you all know, 2020 has been hard on the racing scene. Nearly all recreational races have been canceled, our team missed out on an entire track and field season and were able to squeak in our cross country season with some adjustments and nervousness along the way. Ididarun 2021 will unfortunately also fall victim to a coronavirus cancellation. This was my decision as race director as I did not want to put our administration, students or volunteers in a position where they might not be uncomfortable letting the race be run or helping out at it. This will not be the end of Ididarun, as I fully intend to bring it back in 2022 (wow that seems far away). I know you bunch of crazies will be chomping at the bit to come back and race it as soon as possible! 

That being said I am putting up the option to register for a "Virtual" Ididarun for those of you out there who would like to still support our programs. If you are not in a position financially to donate please don't! I know many people are in a tough spot this year, so I am not expecting much. However, you all have been SOO generous in years past I thought there might be some interest in giving to the program (Linden Track and Cross Country). Due to restrictions for cross country invitationals we did not hold our annual Linden Classic, which is how we generate the majority of our funds. We hope to be back to normal this coming year, but every dollar donated goes to funding equipment and team costs that occur each year. I want to thank all of you who have participated in the past and we hope to see you back next year. Registration link will be open until January 31st. 

All are encouraged to post a picture or run on our facebook page! Share with us your 4 or 8 mile run you completed in the snowiest, coldest, nastiest, most gnarly winter conditions possible!! It wouldn't be Ididarun without epic conditions.
