Event Description

The Valley Center High School Marching Band has been nominated by Senator Pat Roberts to represent the State of Kansas in the upcoming National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C next May.  Wow!!!  What a honor!!!  All of our band kids are REALLY excited and looking forward to participating in this incredible opportunity!  Please help us raise money to ensure our band kids are able to participate as needed.  THANK YOU so much for your support!! 

The race will include a 5k Fun Run and 1 mile Fun Walk.  All ages are welcome to participate.  Event will be hosted by The Timer Guys of Wichita and Sedgwick County Park.  Music will be provided throughout the course by the Valley Center High School Marching Band and the Valley Center High School Jazz Band.  

Runners will be able to pick up their running packets on Friday, 03/06/2020, at Fleet Feet (East side only) from 3p-7p, or at the Horseshoe Shelter House at Sedgwick County Park on Saturday, 03/07/2020, beginning at 8a until the start of the race at 10a.  Participants are able to sign up online through 03/05/2020, or in person at Fleet Feet on 03/06/2020, and AT the event prior to the race.  Please see the signup page for pricing details.  If you would like to participate in the virtual race, entries will only be accepted through 03/05/2020.  Shirts are only guaranteed for registrants through 02/21/2020, after 02/21/2020 by availability only.
