Join us for Lynchburg's only St. Patrick's Day run ~ The St. Paddy's Day 5K!
5K Run: The 5k run is open to all ages and will be professionally timed by Riverside Runners. The race will start at 9:00 a.m. at Riverfront Park downtown Lynchburg. The out & back course is flat and fast on the Blackwater Creek Bikeway. All proceeds benefit the Holy Cross School Community.

$15 (children 9 & under) | $25 (on or before 2/14/2020) | $30 (2/15/2020 - 3/12/2020) | $35 (Packet Pickup & Race Day 3/13/2020 - 3/14/2020)
Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event.
Lynchburg Road Runners Club Member Discount: A $5.00 discount is available to current Lynchburg Road Runners Club members. Discounts will not be given after February 14th. Participant membership must be current with LRRC membership roster found on RunSignUp. Discount will be given at checkout automatically. Refunds and/or discounts will not be given after completing online race registration.
Please note: A LRRC discount is valid only for participants whose membership is current on race day (3/14/2020). St. Paddy's Day 5K Swag: All participants in the 5k race will receive a custom designed t-shirt (register by March 1st to guarantee your shirt) and a swag bag at packet pickup. Extra shirts will be ordered and available on an first-come basis at packet pickup and race day for those that register after the guaranteed deadline.
Packet Pick-up: Friday 3/13, 12-6pm, Riverside Runners, 2480 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503 || Race Day Sat. 3/14, Riverfront Park (exact location TBD), 8:00-8:45am
Parking: Parking information will be available in your race guide at packet pickup and online the week before the race.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age/gender category for the 5k run. (9 & under, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over).
Stroller Policy: This is a family-friendly race and strollers are permitted. However, participants pushing small children and infants in strollers will be starting at approx. 8:50 AM and must stay single-file, on the right side of the path, at all times. Because the course is out and back and the path is narrow, strollers cannot line up side-by-side. This is for the safety of all participants.
Head Phone Policy: For safety reasons, headphones are not permitted on the course.
Pet Policy: For safety reasons, dogs and other pets are not permitted on the course.
