A NEW TAKE ON OUR TRADITIONAL RUN:
To keep our community as safe as possible, we’re offering two unique running/walking opportunities at the 2021 Run for the House! In order to bring you some normalcy — and some of your favorite Run traditions — during these times, we’re elated to partner with Michigan State University Federal Credit Union to offer both a virtual race and a virtual open course!
- Virtual Race: Participants who chose the virtual race option can run or walk the race anywhere your feet will take you — at home, on a treadmill, in your neighborhood or at your local park! After you complete your 5K or 10K, you will upload your performance times into RunSignUp to compete for awards.
- Open Course: Participants who would like to follow a race route can run or walk the marked course on MSUFCU’s headquarters campus Friday through Sunday! Select your corral and enjoy MSUFCU’s paved paths and the race experience as close to “normal” as possible. After you complete your 5K or 10K on the open course, upload your performance times into RunSignUp to compete for awards.

Help make a difference for families of seriously ill children. Your participation in the Run for the House 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run and Kids Run will help the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan provide a home-away-from-home for those families who have a child being hospitalized or receiving treatment at Lansing-area hospitals and clinics. The House offers a comfortable, inexpensive and private place for families to sleep, eat and relax. Here families find a caring atmosphere where they can receive strength and encouragement from others who are also going through difficult times.
