Event Description

The Unofficial Run Yer Keister Off, EggNog Chug Fest, It’s Okay If You Puke 5km Holiday Canyon Run is a race for runners with strong gastrointestinal fortitude that also enjoy running with a lovely view in cold weather. Sounds great right?!  

The race starts at 10:30 am at the Federation Point of the Canyon Rim Trail in Twin Falls. It is an out and back course that takes you along the Canyon Rim Trail to the turn around point at the Twin Falls Visitors Center. At the start all runners drink a glass eggnog before they take off. At roughly the 0.5, 1, 2, and 2.5 mile marks all runners must stop and drink a cup of eggnog. To make it even more fun, all runners must eat a donut at the turnaround point at 1.5 miles.
We’ll cap the number of participants at 25. The race will proceed regardless of weather.

This race remains unofficial and registration is simply to cover costs. Maybe one day we’ll actually get a permit, timing chips, and make it “official”, but for now it’s a “run group” for friends and family who like to run and eat.
