The First ever Groundhog Day Prediction Race. You predict your time. If you get within the alotted time, you get a free entry into the 2021 race. NO WATCHES OR TIMING DEVICES ALLOWED!
Costume Contest! Dress up as your favorite character from Groundhog Day and you may get a super cool prize!
We even have Groundhog Trophies and Medals! You haven't attended a race like this before and best of all, the course isn't revealed until race morning, so you can't practice on it! Will it be flat? Will it be hilly? You have no idea!
Yes, It's on Groundhog Day, February 2, 2020.
Location: Masonic Hall, East Beaver St., Zelienople, PA at the Rec Center.
Time, Registration and packet pick-up at 7:30 AM, races start at 9:00 AM.
The 6.66 Mile race, predict your time withing 66 seconds: Starts at 9:00 AM
The 4.44 Mile Race, predict your time within 44 seconds: Starts at 10:15 AM
The 2.22 Mile Race, Predict your time within 22 seconds: Starts at 11:15 AM
Awards at 11:45 AM.
Before the races start we will have the Groundhog Proclamation and let you know if he saw his shadow. Afterwards, stick sround for some great Groundhog day celebrations, great food, music and a lot of fun.
