Event Description

Lincoln Park is not only historic, it’s beautiful!!! We are proud and excited to hold the inaugural Jersey City Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Run Fest to support two amazing non-profit organizations, Sustainable JC and JCFamilies. 

We’ve created an unforgettable course that includes paved, unrestricted roads, bridges, paths, a lake, and historic monuments.  This is going to be a great event that we’re sure will be around for years to come. 

Join us to support these amazing organizations that work to educate, empower, and advocate for a more sustainable Jersey City.  Run 13.1 Miles, 10K, or 5K on a course with clear markers, tons of support, and a finish line like no other.  We can’t wait to make this happen!

Location 

1 Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07304 (Water Fountain)

Course 

4 loops of 3.27 miles each. (Half) 2 Loops (10K) 1 Loop (5K)

Water Stations 

There will be water stations about every 1.5 - 2 miles along the course. Besides water, there will be Gatorade and GU gels.

Timing

Live timing including a split per loop!

Technical T-shirt & Bib 

Male & Female cuts; A4 Technical Running Shirts for each participant.

Half Distance - Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 14- 19, 20-24 until 75-79

10K & 5K - Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39 until 70 & Over.

Food & Beverages

Post Race bagels, cream cheese spreads, organic jelly, and peanut butter.

Race Day Packet Pick-up: 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

• Bring picture I.D.

• You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it.

Baggage Check-in: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m

• Your bib will have a tear-off tag that you will pin to your personal bag.

• You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from the secure area.

Race Start: 9 a.m.

Preliminary Results: posted at around 10:30 a.m.

Awards Ceremony: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.  

Post Race Celebration!  Bagels, fruits, and drinks!

Post Race Celebration PLUS! Celebrate your accomplishment with some delicious farm food and drink at the 53rd floor Sky Lounge at Journal Squared which has a fabulous penthouse view to remember!  This Celebration Luncheon is hosted by Sustainable JC & JCFamilies Partner Whealth & Company.  Join Citytri, Sustainable JC and JCFamilies to feast in a relaxed setting, socialize and learn more about what these great organizations do for Jersey City.  The location is minutes from the event finish line just off the the Journal Square PATH Plaza at 615 Pavonia Avenue. 

Remember, there are no transfers, no credits, no refunds.  Race Directors reserve the right to change the date, modify or cancel the race.  Only in this case may you transfer your entry to another event.
