Event Description

The sixth annual Big House 5K presented by Toyota is an exciting running and walking event in Ann Arbor, MI. Beyond intercollegiate athletics, our students, faculty and staff also regularly participate in dozens of intramural, club sport and fitness activities as well as actively support our local campus and county community.

The run/walk, owned and managed by the University of Michigan Athletic Department working in conjunction with the Ann Arbor Track Club, will be held on Sunday, April 19th, and will begin near the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus and finish on the field of the revered University of Michigan football stadium, the Big House.

In 2019, $164,000 was donated to six local, non-profit beneficiaries. In 2020, we look forward to partnering with Freedom House Detroit, Huron River Watershed Council, PAVE (Peer Advisers for Veteran Education), SOS Community Services, UM Addiction Center, and Washtenaw Literacy. The intent of our race is to provide our beneficiaries a platform to raise awareness and funds toward their cause.
