The Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day 5k fun run named in memory of Daniel T. McGinnity and organized by the Midway Elementary community. Daniel T. McGinnity helped organize a similar, albeit impromptu, event last year that drew approximately 50 participants. He was a local father and husband who tragically lost his life on July 28th, 2016. This year we are making the event official in his honor.
This event offers a convenient North Spokane fun run on Thanksgiving morning, while benefitting our community by raising funds for Midway PTO. We will also take a moment to come together to remember Daniel T. McGinnity on this special day of the year.
