Event Description
On Saturday, April 25, 2020 the YWCA Greater Harrisburg will hold its 16th Annual Race Against Racism. This 5K run/walk is a mission-driven event promoting awareness of racism in our community and raises vital funds to support our racial justice programs throughout the year.
This marks our fourth year holding the Race Against Racism in the heart of Harrisburg - starting and ending at Soldier's Grove and following a route through downtown and midtown. The YWCA is proud to call this city our home, where we have been rooted for 125 years. The Race is a great opportunity for people of all ages to engage with the city in a fun and unique way.

We also have Race-Day Registration and it will begin at 7:30 a.m. leading up to the race start of 8:30 a.m. The Annual Kid's Fun Run will take place at 10:00 a.m. during the Humanity Festival.
Adult registration is $35 on race day
Kid registration is $25 on race day
Registration includes a t-shirt and a reusable Race Against Racism water bottle, while supplies last. Registration must be completed by April 3 to guarantee a t-shirt.
