Event Description
The 14th Annual ShamRock Run is a charity run benefitting Coweta Force. Coweta Force's mission is to empower individuals, educate our community, and connect stakeholders, while advoating for self-directed care, multiple pathways to recovery, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices aimed at long term recovery.
The 10K course is for competitive runners, the 5K and Leprechaun Dash for the whole family. The 5K and 10K race routes are both USATF certified courses. The Leprechaun Dash will be 2 laps around the Courthouse Square. Walking and strollers are welcome for the 5K and the Leprechaun Dash. Orion Racing will professionally manage the finish line and use RFID chip timing to ensure the most accurate finish times possible. A flat screen TV will be on site to provide a live results feed. Results will be emailed to participants at the end of the race.
New for 2020: Short-sleeved t-shirts, and commemorative medals for 10k finishers! PLEASE NOTE PACKET PICK UP LOCATION HAS CHANGED! We will be holding packet pick up in downtown Newnan at DRAGONFLY RUNNING COMPANY located at 10 LaGrange St, Newnan GA 30263!

March 5, 2020 - last day for online registration
March 6, 2020 - packet pickup *PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION!*. Race packets will not be mailed. Packets can be picked up on Friday, 3/6/2020 at Dragonfly Running Company, 10 LaGrange St, Newnan GA 30263 from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. OR on Race Day at the registration table. *Late registration is also available at this time and on race morning.
March 7, 2020 - Race Day!
6:30 - 7:30 am - Late Registration and Late Packet Pick-up available
7:45 am - Leprechaun Dash begins
8:00 am - 5k, 10k begin
9:30 am - Course closes. **Please make sure you can finish your race by this time**
Award ceremony will begin once a winner from each category has crossed the finish line.
Street parking is available around the square. Street closings will begin around 7:30 am.
Awards will be given for the most creative green costume for an adult and for a child 12 and under.
Results will be posted on NJSLserves.org, Active.com and orionsportstiming.com. These times may be printed and used on the Peachtree Road Race application.
