Event Description

In honor of Rebekah Hoppel Salcedo, Run for Rebekah is a 3K fun run/walk/roll around the University of Arizona mall.

Proceeds from the run will go towards a scholarship established in Rebekah’s honor for University of Arizona students.

This event is a fun opportunity to remember Rebekah, build community, and raise money to support students. There will be timing and awards for men and women in each age category.

All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate – furry friends on leashes welcome, but encouraged to start towards the back of the race.

The Rebekah Hoppel Salcedo Scholarship Fund for University of Arizona students was established to honor the memory and legacy of Rebekah, who was the Executive Director of Scholarships & Financial Aid. In recognition of Rebekah’s spirit and commitment to support all students, the scholarships will be awarded to Arizona students who need financial support, are experiencing extenuating circumstances, show commitment to The University of Arizona and with financial support they will retain and graduate.

Mail-in and Virtual Registration

 

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing.

Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? We are excited to announce our Run for Rebekah virtual event. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt. All you have to do is register above! Please note - your virtual packet will be mailed out the week following the event.

Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com

Race Day Information

 

  • Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 9:00am at The University of Arizona, Mall - near Old Main.

    • We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day

  • Cost of registration on race day:

    • 3K - $40

  • Leashed Pet friendly

  • We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons.

  • No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.

 

Packet Pick-up Opportunities

 

  • Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 2:00 - 5:00pm at the UA Bookstore (map)

  • Sunday, February 16, 2020 at The University of Arizona (race site) beginning at 9:00am.
