Honoring Mothers, Helping Others
Join us for the 3rd annual Miles for Moms ─ a special 5K Walk/Run hosted by Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital Foundation, in honor of Mother’s Day! The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2020 ─ the day before Mother’s Day ─ at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital. Participants are encouraged to walk with or in honor of their mom.

Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is your local hospital. As a not-for-profit hospital, we raise funds each year to strengthen the state-of-the-art healthcare facility we need right here in Goleta. With 24/7 emergency care, we are here for you, your family and your employees whenever the need arises.
Founded in 1966, the not-for-profit Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is licensed for 52-bed acute care beds, admits 1,700 patients a year, receives 24,000 emergency room visits and nearly 30,000 outpatient visits per year. The hospital is recognized for its Breast Imaging Center, the Ridley-Tree Center for Wound Management and the Center for Orthopedics.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:30 a.m. - Race Bib Pick-up & On-Site Registration
- 8:30 a.m. - Warm-up
- 9:00 a.m. - Walk/Run Start
- 10:15 a.m. - Kids’ Run
- 11:00 a.m. - Event Ends
Cost
- $30 - if registered by February 29, 2020
- $35 - if registered by May 2, 2020
- $45 - if registered on or after May 3, 2020
- $15 - children 17 and under (discount applied at checkout)
