Event Description

Join us for our fifth annual Miles for Mothers event on May 12th, 2018 at the American Legion Park in Redmond, Oregon.

The Miles for Mothers Races are not only fun, competitive, and professionally timed, but also a time to honor mothers.  Our goal is to heighten awareness of the many difficult issues mothers face, to increase knowledge of family health resources available and to promote health lifestyles in Central Oregon.  In honor of Mother's Day, funds raised will be specifically designated to subsidize the cost of counseling for mothers in needs. 

Event Details:

The 5K/10K course will race along Redmond's beautiful Dry Canyon trail.   Both races will begin at 9 am.

The 1K Kids Fun Run will circle around the American Legion sports complex and up the canyon a short distance.  The Kids Run will start at approximately 9:15 am. 

Awards:

Awards will be given to the fastest overall male and female, and to the top three individual male and female finishers in each age category for the 5k/10k Races.  Participants in the 5K/10K races will receive a custom race mug. Custom race medals will be awarded to participants in the Kids Fun Run.  Each participants will receive a race bag and post race food and beverages.  All Mom finishers will receive a special gift!

Registration: 

$10- Kids Run w/medal ($15 day of Race)

$25- 5K/10K Race w/custom mug ($30 day of Race)

$15- Miles for Mothers Race Shirt: 

To ensure your requested shirt size preorder by May 2nd, 2018. Shirts will be available for purchase on race day, but shirts sizes and available is not guaranteed.

Online registration is open through May 9th, 2017. Register in person at WaterCup Counseling Service (852 Sw 15th Street, Redmond, Oregon) until race day or at American Legion Park on the day of the Race from 7:30-8:30am.

Race Packets:

Race packets will be available for pick up at WaterCup Counseling Service on Friday May 11th, 2018 (the night before) from 4-6pm and from 7-8:30am on race day at American Legion Park.
