Event Description

The First Annual Silverking Showdown and Shoreline Cleanup will be hosted by Postcard Inn Marina the weekend of May 1st-3rd, 2020 in Islamorada, Fl.

This is a prize money tarpon tournament! (Prizes will depend on amount of boats entered.) Teams can have up to 4 registered anglers per boat. The boundaries for fishing will be from Whale Harbor Bridge to the south end of Long Key Bridge. All fish that are hooked will be released with a photo required for judging purposes. Types of bait methods will range from live to dead bait, with no chumming permitted. 

This event will include a kickoff dinner on Friday May 1st, followed by a day of tarpon fishing on Saturday May 2nd. The event will conclude with a shoreline cleanup hosted by the Coral Shores Marine Science Program. Teams that fish in the tournament on May 2nd, are not obligated to be part of the cleanup event. 

When the event is concluded Inshore Elite, LLC will be making a monetary contribution back to the Coral Shores High School Marine Studies Program.
