Event Description

All abilities are welcome in this exciting 5k and Family Fun Run EXPO for disability awareness. The Walk and Roll 5k is a 3.1-mile loop across two school campuses and completely wheelchair/stroller friendly. The 5k starts at 8:30 and the Family Fun Run/Walk starts at 9:15.

Music, entertainment, activities for everyone as well as information and resource tables for families and individuals who experience disabilities.  This is a family-friendly event brought to you by the  Hernando County Exceptional Student Education Department in collaboration with Ability Tree Florida

Raffles tickets are also sold the day of the event with many amazing prizes including theme park tickets. Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase through the WWHS Hornet Cafe Career Experience Program.

Event details and schedule

Parking attendants will assist drivers in designated areas. Due to the nature of the event priority parking will be offered to guests with handicapped parking decals. Parking at Central High School for non-disabled guests is appreciated.
