Mark your calendars with CGRC’s 7th Annual “Run Like a Dog”! We invite all runners, walkers and their well behaved 4-legged friends to join us in North Bonneville for a 5K fundraiser walk/run loop on the trails of Strawberry Island in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. This fundraising event benefits the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society.

Cost? It costs $5 to register just for the fees associated with online registration! Please bring your heartfelt donations to the race start. 100% of the proceeds we collect in the donation jar at the start will go directly to WCGHS! Every dollar will make a difference. ($10 suggested donation).  Pre race registration encouraged, day of sign up happily accepted beginning at 8:15 a.m.

Directions to the Strawberry Island trailhead located in North Bonneville, Washington

FROM VANCOUVER
Take SR 14 east from Camas.
Travel approximately 25 miles to North Bonneville.
Turn right off SR 14 into North Bonneville (at Chevron gas station).
Turn right on Cascade Drive.
Travel about .3 miles.
Turn left on Portage Drive.
Arrive at Strawberry Island Trailhead.

FROM PORTLAND
Take I-84 east
Take Cascade Locks exit
Cross Bridge of the Gods
Turn left on SR 14
Turn left off SR 14 into North Bonneville (at Chevron gas station).
Turn right on Cascade Drive.
Travel about .3 miles.
Turn left on Portage Drive.
Arrive at Strawberry Island Trailhead.
