Event Description

My name is Nicholas Jonas and I am a student who attends Sport and Medical Sciences Academy in Hartford, where I am a senior graduating with the class of 2020. As a graduation requirement, students must complete a senior Capstone project, which is a service-learning project designed for students to actively use their classroom knowledge and leadership skills to complete something for their community. For my Capstone project, I planned a 5k race to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Foundation. All proceeds and donations will support life-changing programs that empower, employ, and engage America’s injured veterans.
