Event Description

This run is sponsored by Oakmont High School in support of the Me-ONE Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing adult cancer patients and their families a respite from the disease. Since 2008, Me-ONE has hosted a no-cost getaway weekend for cancer patients, their extended families, and their supporters.

The Me-ONE Foundation is singular in its focus. They are all about providing the perfect place for adult cancer patients to disconnect from their diagnosis, and recharge their relationships.

The creators of Me-One were Tom and Heidi Wieser. Heidi is still very much involved. Tom served as a baseball coach at Oakmont High School during many of the 9 years he lived with cancer. He is remembered as a very kind, loving and knowledgable coach.

Registration starts at 7:30 am near the starting line (see attached map).

Race starts at 9:00 am.

Donations are always welcome!!
