Event Description

This hidden gem of single track trails, ocean views, and rolling hills is a must-see for any trail running or hiking fan.  The trails lend themselves to a 5K and a fun, rolling single track adventure over 8 miles.  The land we'll be on is part of San Onofre State Beach, but it's tucked inland, just across from San Mateo Campground near Camp Pendleton (Christianitos Rd).  We'll start and finish at Richard Steed Park in San Clemente.

A portion of each paid registration will benefit the San Onofre Parks Foundation.  Please consider an additional donation to the Foundation through the registration process. The San Onofre Parks Foundation is a California non-profit 501(c) (3) public benefit, charitable corporation, whose mission is to provide for education and interpretive services regarding all aspects of the natural, cultural, historical and biological diversity of California State Parks at San Onofre and San Clemente State Beaches; promoting environmental awareness and ethics; and enhancing the quality of recreation experience at these unique coastal parks.

Top three overall winners in the 5K and 8 Miler race receive special awards.

Age group winners, three deep, win awards in these categories:  19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Over.
