Event Description

Run Against Rape is a 5k foot race at Mike Ward Park in Irvine, CA on March 28, 2020. Run Against Rape is being held to raise money to provide rape and sexual assault survivers with the necessary materials, both physical and mental, in order to recover. In doing so, all the profit will go to RAINN, the nations largest sexual assault hotline. After registering for the Run Against Rape, we will provide you with a free "Run Against Rape" shirt, free water, free parking and access to the trail for up to two hours. During the race, you will run past beautiful lakes and lush fields of trees. From 9:00-9:45 am, breakfast will be available for purchase and at 10:00 am, the race will begin! There will be water stations and bathrooms throughout the trail, along with volunteers directing you and cheering you on toward the finish line. There will be complementary massages available, along with many other activities such as a photo booth, face paint, live music and more. After the run, feel free to roam around Mike Ward Park or go across the street where you will find an array of shops and restaurants. Hope to see you there!
