Event Description

Join us on March 21, 2020 for the 5th Annual PARC Walk, a family-friendly event held at the Phoenix Zoo, which has graciously offered us exclusive access to their facilities prior to opening to the public. PARC Walk is hosted by the Phoenix Arcadia Rotary Club and funds raised will benefit the Girl Scouts -- Arizona Cactus-Pine, which is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls.

Once registered, all walkers have complimentary access to the zoo for the entirety of the day. The comfortable, paved loop track provides walkers access to all zoo exhibits and is accessible to all skill levels and abilities. The zoo path is handicap accessible. Registration for the walk begins at 6:00 AM at the zoo’s west gate.

Girl Scouts -- Arizona Cactus-Pine serves more than 20,000 girls grades K-12 in more than 90 communities, including Indian Reservation and military installation in central and northern Arizona. Girl Scouts provides the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to every girl, everywhere. Girls develop their leadership potential through activities in science and technology, business and economic literacy, and outdoor and environmental awareness, to discover their values, skills, and the world around them; connect with other in a multicultural environment; and take action to make a difference in the world.
