Event Description
The 2020 Glow N Games is a fun family event like no other. This premiere Mesa County event caps off Police Week with an individual night 5K Glow Run / Walk, and a regional CrossFit Field Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Colorado! Put on by first responders, this is an event you don't want to miss!!!
CrossFit Field Challenge: This regional CrossFit sanctioned event is comprised of first responder themed challenges: Dynamic, Sprint, Strength, and Endurance. Ever wanted to pull the SWAT Team’s Bearcat or try dragging the Fire Department’s dummy….this is your event!
5k Glow Run / Walk: Once the sun goes down, we turn on the lights and make the 5K course glow. Participants get glow powder, glow sticks, and are encouraged to dress up!! New and improved Glow Stations are set up throughout the course to maximize fun. For the serious runner, we've got professional timers to help get your PR! Who will cross the crime scene tape finish line first?!

Parking: The best parking on the South side of Long Family Memorial Park (3117 E 1/2 Rd) or at Central High School. You can also park on the North side of the park (3118 F Rd) but you will be further away from the main festivities.
Packet pickup is available at the registration booth from 4:00 pm until 10 minutes prior to the event. CrossFit Field Challenge Team designee may pick up packets for all Team members.
5K Glow Run / Walk: This is a night event so neon colors, glow sticks, and headlamps are encouraged! Registration includes glow sticks, and color powder packs that glow at stations placed throughout the course! Additional color powder packs can be purchased at registration booth.
CrossFit Field Challenge: Teams of 4 (2 male and 2 females) will compete in first responder themed challenges: Dynamic, Sprint, Strength, and Endurance. This includes the SWAT Team’s Bearcat pull and Fire Department’s dummy drag (new this year).
The Bearcat Pull has been a Police Week tradition for Law Enforcement for years and now it is available to the public! It's not just about strength, but strategy too!! Gloves are recommended.
