Registrants who sign up prior to Sunday, May 17, are guaranteed a race shirt.  Registrations after this date may not receive a race shirt.

About Our Race

All proceeds from the Dream Big events will benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital.

The Dream Big 5K/10K and Kid's Fun Run will begin at Alum Creek State Park beach. All 5K & 10K participants will run the path toward the top of the dam and circle back to the start line.  The coure is a great combination of pavement and trail.

All participants receive a finisher's medal, t-shirt, complimentary race pictures and post race refreshments.  Handcrafted awards will be given to the top three male and female winners for the 5K and 10K.

In addition, all children participating in the 50 yard sprint or 100 yard dash will receive a finisher's medal.  The top 3 male and female winners will be recognized at a special awards ceremony.

All events associated with the Dream Big 5K/10K are sponsored by American Showa, Inc, Sunbury, Ohio.

 

Lodging

  • Campsites are availble to reserve at the Alum Creek State Park campground.
  • Local hotels include: Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, StayBridge Suites, Hyatt Place, Comfort Inn, Baymont, Cambria Hotel and more.

9:15 AM 5K Awards Ceremony at Finish Line

9:40 AM 10K Awards Ceremony at Finish Line

Please park in the parking lot at the Alum Creek State Park beach area. 

 

Packet Pick-up

Early packet pick up will be available for American Showa Associates on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 8AM-2PM at American Showa, Sunbury.

Packet pick-up is available for all participants at the Alum Creek Beach Pavilion on Friday, June 19 from 4PM-7PM.

All other participants should pick up their packet on race day, Saturday, June 20, between 7:00-8:00 AM.

Please pin your race bib to your clothing so it is visible from the front.  This race will be chipped so it is important that your bib can be sensed by our timing equipment.

There will be multiple hydration stations on the course and refreshments available after the race.
