Event Description

Sergeant Mike Seratt with the Blount County Sheriff's Office is battling colon cancer. We are having a Fun Run to help raise money for his family during this difficult time, as well as raise awareness of colon cancer. This fun run is for all ages, and takes place at the very end of Colon Cancer Awareness month. We ask that everyone participating wears blue to support not only the awareness of this awful disease, but also the support of this brother in blue. Sgt. Seratt has spent his law enforcement career ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members. Now it's our turn to show him our support. The more blue you wear, the better!

If participants would like to donate more than the race registration fee to this cause, they are welcome to do so at the event. Any donations can be made the day of the event through a check-in volunteer or donation box. Donations are also being accepted at any local CBBC branch under the "Mike Seratt Benefit" fund.

We are also planning a pancake breakfast across the street during and after the fun run. More details will be available on the Fight Like Mike Facebook page.
