Event location: UCLA Campus, 405 Hilgard Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90095 Event time: 9/27/15, 8 am PST The Burning Sands 5K Runs have been established as a commitment to inform, strengthen, and raise the public’s awareness of the growing need to unite as ONE to end ALL forms of “Hazing”. By raising awareness across all cultural, social, and economic bounds, The Burning Sands Runs elects to touch the hearts and lives of all participants as part of a Universal Movement. It is welcomed by ALL Greeks and Non-Greeks who support a positive and fulfilling Greek life while denouncing those individuals within ANY organization (Fraternities, Sororities, Marching Bands, Athletic teams, or even the common school yard Bully) who “Haze”.
