Event Description

The Book'n It Run for Literacy is a Sun Prairie Public Library Foundation started in 2003. All proceeds go to the Foundation to support the collections and programs of the library, such as the new Teen Space, Welcome Space, and the Dream Bus Bookmobile service. 

The runs and walk will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Sheehan Park (1351 Linnerud Drive). Events include:

5K and 10K Run
5K Walk
1 Mile Fun Run (for all ages)
Kids’ 100 Meter Dash (ages 10 and under)

Anticipated Race Day Schedule*:    Saturday August 1, 2020
6:30 am         Registration opens for 10K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run, and Kids’ 100 Meter Dash

7:45 am          Registration closes for 10K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk

8:00 am         Start time for 10K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk

9:00 am         Registration closes for 1 Mile Fun Run and Kids’ 100 Meter Dash

9:05 am          Mascots run the Kids’ 100 Meter Dash

9:15 am          Start time for Kids’ 100 Meter Dash (for kids 10 and under)

9:30 am          Start time for the 1 Mile Fun Run

Awards will be presented to the top two finishers in the 5K and the top two finishers in the 10K.
