The Governor’s Cup Kid’s Marathon

Kids in grades K-5 at participating schools can log 120 minutes of running/walking during a six-week training period and run/walk a 1-mile lap at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 12 at Centennial Park to become a Kid’s Marathon finisher.

This non-competitive, non-timed event is about having fun and making it to the finish line.

Every Kid’s Marathon training program participant will be rewarded with tokens for meeting time goals and a T-shirt for completing the training program, free of charge. Those who participate in the final event will also earn a finisher’s medal.
