Welcome to the Tampa Bay 5K for Autism & 1 Mile Run for One, Run for ALL!
This great run is heading into it's 3rd year, better then ever! Come on out for this CHIP TIMED Family Friendly 5K! We also will be running the 1 Mile Run for ONE, Run for ALL!! because we are all Better Together at our 1 Miler Fun Run at Gadsden Park. A great way for you, your family, friends and some incredible community partners to spend a Saturday morning running/walking and connecting all for a great cause!
Whether you are running in support of someone you love who is diagnosed with autism or a disability, an experienced 5K or distance runner, or even a first time participant... there is a place for you here! Who and What does the Tampa Bay's 5K for Autism and 1 Mile Run for One, Run for ALL Benefit?
Our inaugural 5K Event was created 3 years ago by Diversity Action Coalition, Inc (DAC) a LOCAL registered 501(c)3 Nonprofit, with the goal in mind to bring families, friends, neighbors, resources and community partners together and to raise much needed funds for our programs which serve our local families and community! At DAC our philosophy is "We are all More Alike than Different" AND "What is RAISED Here, STAYS Here!" Proceeds from this event will go to programs which focus on inclusion for individuals and families impacted by autism and other disabilities. Some of our programs include our quarterly Networking Events for individuals, families and organizations as well as our Informational Seminars, and our Annual Breakfast with Santa for Children and Families with disabilities!

7:30 AM - Registration Opens & Day of Race Packet Pickup 8:30 AM - 5K START ** CHIP TIMED** AWARDS for the 5K Male/Female Top Finishers and Age Groups 9:30 AM - 1 Mile Run for One, Run for ALL!! START ** NOT A TIMED RUN, Finisher Ribbons for all participants
What is the price of the 5K race and is it timed? YES, the Tampa Bay 5K for Autism is CHIP TIMED 5K for Autism: Early Bird: $25 until 2/14/2020 $30 2/15/2020 - 2//15/20 - 2/07/20; $45 Race Day—CHIP TIMED
What is the price of the 1 Mile Run for ONE, Run for ALL! and it this 1 Miler timed? NO, the 1 Miler is NOT TIMED and is a Family Friendly Fun 1 Mile run, jog, walk
1 Mile Run for One, Run for ALL!!: Adult: $15 Child: $10 until 3/20/2020 $20 Race Day - NOT CHIP TIMED/NOT TIMED
VIRTUAL RUNNERS - WE would LOVE TO HAVE YOU PARTICIPATE in our 5K! Fee is: $25.00 IF you are unable to attend the 5K in person, we will miss you BUT you can still support by signing up to be a Virtual Runner!! Don't Miss this opportunity to support those that you love with Autism and Disabilities LOCALLY!! You will receive a T-shirt & the Finishers Medal once you submit your 5K Time! Once you sign up as a Virtual Runner we will send you the details for submitting YOUR 5K running time!

Where do I park on race day?
There's free parking at Gadsden Park, but spaces are limited. It's highly encouraged that you carpool or share-ride!
Weather
This is a rain or shine event. in the unusual circumstance that this event is cancelled due to extreme weather (hurricane or heavy unrelenting downpour), there will be NO REFUND! In the event of lightening in the area, we will postpone the event by an hour, or cancel if necessary due to the weather making the course unsafe.
