Looking for a great race to end your winter season or start your spring season? Just looking for a fun race to run with friends and family? Then this is for you!
This year we will have the 2nd running of the Make-A-Wish CT 5k Road Race in Coventry, CT, and the inaugural Make-A-Wish CT 5k Road Race #2 in Bethany, CT! These two events now form the Make-A-Wish CT 5k Road Race Series. Come join us on Saturday, March 20th for race #1 in Coventry and on Sunday, March 21st for race #2 in Bethany for a weekend of making a difference! Proceeds from each of the races will go directly to Make-A-Wish CT to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses!
Coventry is a rural town located ten minutes away from the University of Connecticut and is populated with hilly, forested roads. This portion of the Make-A-Wish 5k Road Race Series is still being set up through the town, with a location not in place as of this moment. Regardless of location, however, we can confirm that this course will be all pavement, hilly, and be set up as a loop. When a location is settled, we will pass this information along as soon as possible. This race will be run (tentatively) on March 20th, 2021 as part of the Make-A-Wish 5k Road Race Series.
The town of Bethany is a small, rural Connecticut town located about twenty minutes from the hustle and bustle of New Haven. Following along the roads in the area, this portion of the Make-A-Wish 5k Road Race Series will consist of an all pavement, flat, out-and-back route starting and ending at the Bethany Town Hall. This race will be run (tentatively) on March 21st, 2021 as part of the Make-A-Wish 5k Road Race Series.
