Marquette and USA Triathlon are joining together to host a another Tri60 event here in MKE. This event is for beginners looking to dip their toes into the sport of triathlon for the first time to those preping for their first big race of the season. This year the logistics have changed! The event will consist of a 10 minute swim in an indoor pool, 30 minute bike on a computrainer (bring your own bike!), and a 20 minute run around an elevated indoor track. This is a bring your own bike event! No spin bikes! This is not a qualifiying race for 2020 Age Group Nationals.

Marquette University's Human Performance Assessment Core (HPAC) will host its 4th annual indoor triathlon. Non-Marquette University affiliated athletes over 18 years are welcome to join!
- All in one place; no shuttle from swim to bike to run!
- Participants get discounted human performance testing (including metabolic testing, VO2 max, bone density/body composition, strength testing).
- Packet pickup on race morning.
- Waves assigned race week.
The race is different this year:
- 10 minute swim- pool across the street
- 10 minute transition from swim to bike
- 30 minute bike: Computrainers, bring your own bike
- 5 minute transition from bike to run in neighboring building
- 20 minute run
**Road/tri bikes will fit. Mountain bike tires will not fit. Hybrids will likely not fit.

This is not a qualifiying race for 2020 Age Group Nationals.
Parking info: 16th Street parking structure is secure, easy to use, and available for only $5 on Saturdays. The lot is on the left side of 16th Street (one way, going north) between Wisconsin Ave. and Wells St. *Note: street parking is mainly 2 hours so the lot might be your best bet.
Parking structure address: 749 N. 16th Street. Cost: $5.
Schedule: Waves every 35 minutes. Start time 8:15AM. Plan to arrive about 1+ hrs before your wave starts. Waves assigned at least 3 days prior to the event (right after registration closes) or sooner. You will be emailed wave information.
Arrival procedure: Sign in will be just inside the lower entrance of Cramer Hall on 16th street (USAT ID required). Go to bike check in (Cramer 050).
ID: Show USAT license checked at registration. You must show this ID (physical copy or even a screen shot of your USAT ID/membership phone app) to the registration table to race!
This event will take place at a pool and a in weight room which includes a potentially dangerous envioment and equipment for children. Please keep children supervised at all times.
Flow of event:
Check in – Cramer basement level (1hr+ before start)
Swim- Helfaer Rec Center, bring swimsuit, TOWEL(!), change of clothes. A warm up lane will be available at all times. Post swim, change and then walk over to Cramer Hall 010 (across the street) where the bikes will be. A volunteer will help you get your bike from transition and set up on the trainers.
Bike- Cramer Hall 010. Bring sweat towel, fluids, and make sure your bike does not have very heavy treads or knobby tires. These are not compatible with the computrainer.
Run- Meet near the check in table.
