Event Description

The views from the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway!!! We are proud and excited to hold the inaugural Jersey City Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Run Fest to support an amazing non-profit organization: JCFamilies. 

Join us to support this organizations that work to educate, empower, and advocate for Jersey City Families.  Run 13.1 Miles, 10K, or 5K on a course with clear markers, tons of support, and a finish line like no other.  We can’t wait to make this happen!

Location 

Hudson River Waterfront off of Sussex Street, Jersey City, NJ 

Course 

4 loops of 3.27 miles each. (Half) 2 Loops (10K) 1 Loop (5K)

Water Stations 

There will be water stations about every 1.5 - 2 miles along the course. Besides water, there will be Gatorade and GU gels.

Timing

Live timing including a split per loop!

Technical T-shirt & Bib 

Male & Female cuts; A4 Technical Running Shirts for each participant.

Personalized bib (must register 4 weeks prior) commemorative bib thereafter.

Awards/Plaques for Top 3 overall Male and Female (All distances)

Half Distance - Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 14- 19, 20-24 until 75-79

10K & 5K - Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39 until 70 & Over.

Food & Beverages

Post Race bagels, cream cheese spreads, organic jelly, and peanut butter.

Race Day Packet Pick-up: 7:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

• Bring picture I.D.

• You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it.

Baggage Check-in: 7:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m

• Your bib will have a tear-off tag that you will pin to your personal bag.

• You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from the secure area.

Race Start: 8 a.m. for Half Marathon  & 10 a.m. for 5k & 10K

Awards Ceremony for each distance starts promptly, do not leave without your award!  

Post Race Celebration!  Bagels, fruits, and drinks!

Remember, there are no transfers, no credits, no refunds.  Race Directors reserve the right to change the date, modify or cancel the race.  Only in this case may you transfer your entry to another event.
