This annual event is a 1K/5K walk, run, or roll race that promotes awareness of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or delays within the community. The race encourages a healthy lifestyle for all participants, creates an atmosphere for positive self-esteem, allows individuals who are not ambulatory to engage in a sporting activity and creates a culture of inclusion within the community.
Teams, beginners, and all pros are welcome to run, walk, or roll on a well-marked fully accessible course! Both the 1K and 5K races will include professional chip timing, and awards will be given for top overall finishers, teams, and finishers in age groups by gender.
There will also be informational booths, Envision Art Program art for sale, lots of music and energy, as well as fun activities for kids!
