Event Description

We had such a blast at the Hard Cider Run back in September that we are once again partnering with our Friends at Boutique Wines, Spirits & Cider but this time for a wine run! This event is strictly capped at 100 participants and is likely to sell out. Please read through all the important details before registering.

ALL THE DETAILS:

Event Date:  Sunday, April 5th (the un-timed fun run will begin at 11:15am) 

Run Distance: Un-timed 5K fun run  

Start & end location: Boutique Wines, Spirits & Cider at 18 Westage Drive, Fishkill, NY.  It is located near Hudson Buffet. 

Swag: Best swag ever! All registered participants will receive the following: 
- A high quality custom designed gender specific t-shirt ($20 value) 
- A beautiful custom stemless wine glass with a lid  
- A custom "will run for wine" race bib  
- VIP private early access to the Grand Wine & Spirit tasting event which includes a tasting glass and reusable wine tote 

Wine Tasting:  All registered participants will receive VIP early access (before it opens to the general public at 1pm) to the Grand Wine & Spirit tasting event at 12pm sharp on Sunday 4/5.  There will be dozens of products available to taste and purchase specials should you wish to take anything home after the event.  

Swag & Bib Pickup: Swag bags and bibs can be picked up:
- Wednesday 4/1 10am-7pm at Fleet Feet 
- Thursday 4/2 10am-7pm at Fleet Feet
- Friday 4/3 10am-7pm at Fleet Feet
- Saturday 4/4 10am-6pm at Fleet Feet 
- Sunday 4/5 10:15am-10:45am at the start/finish line located near Boutique Wines, Spirits & Cider, 18 Westage Drive (near Hudson Buffet), Fishkill, NY 

Cost: Registration is $30 through through Friday 3/20.  Registration from Saturday 3/21 through race day (if not sold out) will be $35.  

Deadlines & Rules:  All registered participants will receive a gender specific t-shirt however you must register by Friday 3/20 to receive your custom shirt BEFORE the event and save money on the registration fee.  Everyone who registers after that date will be able to pick-up their shirt at Fleet Feet after Friday 4/10.  All participants must be age 21+ and will need to have a photo ID in hand before the run.  IDs will need to be scanned and "proof of ID" wrist bands will be provided before entry to the tasting will be granted.  We are unable to accommodate strollers or dogs at this event.  This is a rain or shine event.  Refunds will not be given under any circumstances.  

FAQs
Is there a minimum age to participate?  
The route is open to traffic and this course is therefore not suitable for small children.  Please use your best judgement when registering minors for this event.  Participants must be over 21 to participate in the wine tasting.    

Can I bring a stroller or a dog on a leash? 
We are not able to accommodate dogs or strollers at this event due to the course design.  We are however able to accommodate strollers at the Big Run 5K/10K in June:  https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Poughkeepsie/TheBigRunPoughkeepsie

Do you have a course map?
The run take place in the Westage center.  If you are looking for more information beyond that, this event probably isn't for you ;)

Is there a wait list if the event sells out? 
We will not have a wait list for this event.  We have only enough shirts as open registration spots and those who register but cannot attend still have the option of picking up their goodies. 

I signed up but can't attend, can I transfer my registration? 
Yes!  Since this is an un-timed fun run you can transfer your registration and that person can just use your name when picking up, there is no need to let us know.  If they are buying the spot from you, you would handle the economics of that on your end, we don't resell spaces or keep a wait list of individuals who want spaces. Also, shirts are ordered in advance and therefore size switches are unfortunately not possible.
