Event Description
Join the Philipstown community for the first annual Hub 5K and Family Fun Run, a charity fundraiser to benefit the Philipstown Behavioral Health Hub, whose mission is to provide local access to mental health and addiction resources.
The Hub 5K will begin at 9:30 am, followed by the Hub Family Fun Run at 10:45 am. Each event will begin and end at the Riverfront Bandstand in Cold Spring, NY. The 5K course takes place on the streets of the village of Cold Spring and Nelsonville. The Family Fun Run will follow a route along the two lower blocks of Cold Spring, covering a distance of approximately .3 miles. Each 5K registration includes entry to the Family Fun Run.
Awards will be given for the top three overall male and female runners, as well as the top three male and females in each of the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65 and above.
The number participants in this race is limited. If spaces are still available, walk up registration for the 5K will be available the morning of the race for $35 (age 18+) and $25 (17 and under) and for the Family Fun Run for $15 per person. Day of registration will not include a t-shirt. This event will take place rain or shine!
Free parking is available at the Cold Spring Metro-North train station on Sundays.
Free childcare will be available for runners of the 5K for ages 4 and up. Check your kids in while you run the 5K, then pick them back up for the Family Fun Run! Preregistration for childcare is required so staffing can be planned accordingly, you can register for childcare on the race registration page.
