Event Description

Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton will host their 13th annual Major Taylor Signature Bike Ride. There will be 2 rides an Adult Ride (18 years of age and over; under 18 with an accompanying adult) with 16, 40, 63 miles, a century route and a 5-10 mile Family Fun Ride (with children 17 years of age and under). A parent or guardian is required to accompany all participants 12 years of age and under on the family ride.

The 16/40/63 miles and century will start together. The route will be flat to rolling hills. After the 1st rest stop the route becomes more challenging for the 40, 63 miles and century. The route takes you through Dayton, Moraine, Jefferson, West Carrollton, Farmersville, Lewisburg, Brookville and back to Dayton.  The century route includes a challenging hilly loop through Germantown Township.

Early registration is $30 for 18/36/63 mile and century routes and ends June 14.  Add $5 once early registration ends.  Day of registration is $40. The family ride is $5.

Pre-registered participants are guarenteed a Signature water bottle and lunch is provided to all riders. Ride includes 5 rest stops and SAG support.

The designated Charity for the 2020 Signature ride is the Victory Project, a Dayton afterschool program started in 2007 that mentors disengaged young men with their groundbreaking 3E curriculum (Education, Entrepreneurship, Enlightenment).  For additional information on the Victory Project you can visit their website:  http://www.victoryproject.org/
