Event Description

The Maryland Center for the Arts 5k Bunny Run sponsored by Pendant Automation and Timpson Training is a run/walk to benefit the Maryland Center for the Arts. The race will start and end at the Harford County Equestrian Center from 8:30am-9:30am.  Please stay after the race for fun activities for the entire family such as:

  • Pictures with the Easter Bunny from 9-11
  • Face painting
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Truck of Deliciousness food truck
  • Kona Ice
  • Participation Medals for all registrants
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prizes for overall best time

All in attendance are encouraged to come dressed up in your favorite bunny costume!  

We strongly encourage registrants to pick up their Race Day Packets the day before the race on FRIDAY, MAY 15 between 12noon-2pm or 5pm-7pm at the CHARM CITY RUN STORE in BEL AIR, MD.  This will shorten your check-in time on the morning of the race. 

We also accept donations to the Maryland Center for the Arts, and you can make a donation by clicking "Donate" in the menu tab above or by mailing a check made payable to "Maryland Center for the Arts" with "5K Run Donation" written in the memo line and mailed to Maryland Center for the Arts P.O. Box 687 Bel Air, MD 21014.  The Maryland Center for the Arts 5K Bunny Run will support the arts programs, operations, and capital project for the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Maryland Center for the Arts (MDCFA), (Fed EIN: 20-3022352) located in Bel Air, Maryland. The mission of MDCFA is to provide a broad range of creative and collaborative experiences for all ages through quality arts education, presentations, and exhibits in all disciplines of the arts; and to build and operate a visual and performing arts center for the region to have greater access to quality spaces to exhibit, present, and participate in the arts.  The new arts campus will sit on 41 wooded acres in Bel Air and will include a multi-purpose community arts center to be used for performances, art exhibits, lectures, and banqueted events, a 500-seat amphitheater with an additional 500 in lawn seating, and two educational buildings to house studios, galleries, classrooms, and theaters for all arts disciplines such as music, dance, theater, and visual art.
