The Spring Thaw Mountain Bike Festival is in it’s 25th year! It is one of the biggest and longest standing mountain bike events in Oregon’s rich history of racing. It features a Cross Country Race on Saturday that utilizes some of the finest single tracks in Southern Oregon with over 4,000′ of climbing and descending for the elite and expert riders. The event starts on Saturday with the conditions permitting  the 2060 XC loop and the Kid’s Race. Then continues on into Sunday with a Downhill race starting up at 4 Corners.  Also on Sunday there will be a shorter Downhill course for sport and beginners. This  Downhill continues to grow with racers coming from Washington, California, Arizona and all over the state of Oregon. The Downhill is 2 stages instead of 1 with the addition of a race run on BTI, a very popular trail that is at the end of the Cross Country race and near the venue. We are also putting points on all 3 of the stages, XC and the 2 DH stages and crowning an “All Mountain” Champion for both the Men and Women (Only Elite and Expert combined and you must compete on the same Bike!)
Racers will be tested on not only their fitness but their skill on a mountain bike as well.
This race is proudly part of the Oregon Off Road Mountain Bike Series

Be the queen or king of the mountain by combining your times from the cross country race on Saturday and the downhill on Sunday.  Make sure to come weigh your bike in before the race to be qualified for this special category.  New this year is a discounted 2 day sign up Please be aware if your getting a one day OBRA then you will need to get 2 one day licenses to be in the All Mountain Challenge.
