Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for young people 15-29.
Join us and run/walk for a tremendous cause.
The Jonathan Foundation is on mission to touch the lives of teens who are at risk through assessment, education and support. Be THAT Friend and be a part of something big!!!
Our race this year will coincide with National Suicide Prevention Month, National Suicide Prevention Week Sept 5th - 11th, World Suicide Prevention Day Sept 10th and The Jonathan Foundation's national program Be That Friend.
This run/walk takes place at Lynches River County Park located on Lynches River in the Pee Dee region.
This year we will have a kids run prior to the 5k start. This will be a short distance packed with lots of fun.
We've added a new feature to our sign up. You can now form a team and raise money to help The Jonathan Foundation bring awareness to suicide prevention to teens.
Early Registration: 5K/Walk/Virtual $25 – (Until May 31st)
Regular Registration: 5k/Walk/Virtual $30 - (Jun 1st - Sept 8th)
Late Registration: 5K/Walk/Virtual $35 after (Sep 9th- Sep 11th)
Race Day Registration: 5k/Walk/Virtual $35
Kids 12 and under Free for 5k and Kids Fun Run
Youth (under 18) on a track team run for FREE for
5kVirtual Race Entry will receive T-shirt and participation medal in the mail.
Entertainment: This is a kid friendly fun family event located at Lynches River County Park in Coward, SC. The park includes a cool Environmental Discovery Center with interactive fun, live exhibits, and to round out the fun there is a tree top canopy walk. We will have good tunes again this year with Roadtrip Radio, along with awards and a variety of food for all.
The 5k/Walk Start time is 8:30 AM and Kids Fun Run starts at 7:45 AM.
