Event Description

Bike along tranquil country roads through pristine farmland. Tours travels along an amazing view of the Roanoke River Valley. The Country Roads Bike Tour offers a 25, 50 and 100k course. All courses will begin and end in Scotland Neck at the Town Hall.

Along the tour courses there will be quality rest stops with nutrients to help you stay energized throughout your journey. Routes are visibly marked and will be monitored in order to respond to any safety needs.

After the ride, you can enjoy lunch “on us” on the Town Commons. You may also take the opportunity to tour the world’s largest collection of rare and endangered waterfowl at Sylvan-Heights Bird Park, browse antiques and one-of-a-kind items in several of our downtown shops or enjoy hand-dipped ice cream or baked goods at Hometown Hardware & General Store
