Course Information

The course is designed as a loop that varies from open state highway to maintained forest service roads to closed forest service roads to single track trail. The overall elevation gain/loss is about 4,000 feet. The majority of the race will traverse through heavily forested National Forest lands with opportunities for spectacular views and potential wildlife encounters. Bear spray is not required, but it is recommended. The course will be well marked with several aid stations along the route. Cell service is limited. Race officials will have a means of communication at each of the aid stations. While the course is not as difficult as some 50Ks, it poses its own unique challenges and should be taken seriously.
