Event Description

A fund-raising event for Hospice of Laurens County since 2006, Flight of the Dove features a metric century (62 miles), a 30 mile ride, and a 14 mile leisure ride. A 50 mile variation of the metric century is also available.  Cue sheets and directions to the stadium are available at www.hospiceoflaurenscounty.org under the event section. All rides are SAG'ed and have frequent, well-stocked rest stops. T-shirts are guaranteed to riders who register prior to July 31, 2019.  Lunch is provided to all participants.  All rides begin and end at the stadium.

Thank you for your interest in Flight of the Dove. Pre-registration is $40.  You may also register the day of the ride for $45. Registration opens at 6:45AM under the stadium. Restrooms are available under the stadium and will be open at 6am.  Parking is available in the grass field across from the stadium.  Parking signage will be present at the event.  We are looking forward to a great ride!

LIVE DOVE RELEASE 7:55 AM

Metric Century START TIME: 8:00 AM

50/30 Mile START TIME: 8:10 AM

14 Mile START TIME: 8:20 AM

Lunch Opens at 10:30 AM

 Early Packet Pick-Up:

Friday, July 31, 2020 from 3:30pm-6 pm at Hospice of Laurens County located at 1304 Springdale Drive, Clinton, SC 29325. Directly across from Bailey Memorial Stadium (event location).

Same Day REGISTRATION and PACKET PICK UP:

Same day registration and packet pick up is located under the stands at Bailey Memorial Stadium.

EVENT DAY PARKING ENTRANCE:

Turn onto E. Maple Street from Springdale Drive to enter the grass parking area. Gault Drive will be closed to traffic on event day. Look for signage.

CARS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE TRAFFIC CIRCLE IN FRONT OF THE STADIUM.

BATHROOMS:                                                                                                                                                                   All restrooms are located under the stands at Bailey Memorial Stadium.  

FOOD:

Lunch will be provided to each participate and volunteer. Lunch service will begin at 10:30am located under the stadium.
