Event Description

This first-ever VISALIA PAL (POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE) 5K RACE & KIDS' 1/2 MILE RUN will fund PAL kids attending PAL HONOR CAMP next June.  Police Officers staff the week-long camp allowing up to 40 students grades 4-8 to experience exciting outdoor activities in the Sequoia National Forest.

The 5k Race is an out & back run or walk along the beautiful St. John's River Trail.  All finishers receive a super medal depicting the Visalia Police Department Badge and a running shirt.

The family-friendly morning starts at 8:15 with the 1/2 Mile Kids' Run within the Cutler Park boundaries (and within sight of family members).  Their $5 fee includes their own FINISHER'S MEDAL!

The finish line includes snacks and a First Responder's Expo with several surprises.  Please bring your family, friends and neighbors to join a worthy cause in a healthy activity.
