Event Description

It is without question that we are all impacted during this unprecedented time. And to be quite honest, we miss you. We miss seeing you toe the starting line, pouring your heart out in a race, and accomplishing goals as you cross the finish line. And we miss meeting up with friends and family at local establishments - sharing a laugh over a good meal, a hot cup of coffee, or a local brew. And it got us thinking…how can we help? How can we still support our local businesses? While also maintaining a safe space between each other, of course!

We'll provide you with a few routes throughout the Madison area. You run it when you want between April 13th - 26th, we'll let you know of a few ways to support some local businesses along the way, AND you still get some swag like you would any other race! Plus there's additional opportunities to win free entries to future Race Day Event events. Just be the first to complete all 3 shorter routes or all 3 longer routes for an automatic free entry. And get two entries into a drawing for a free entry by completing the Lake Loop as well as one entry with each completion of any of the routes. If you're not in the Madison area or if you'd prefer to run your favorite route in your neighborhood or on a treadmill and still want to support the Great 608, there's still the option to submit your time to the open 5k and 10k results! Please stay safe and participate at a safe distance from others!
