Welcome to the 2nd Annual Silverlake Conservatory of Music 5K Funk Run! This year's race takes place in Griffith Park, so bring your friends and family and support music education for our youth!  The course, which loops around the golf course, is on mostly packed dirt and is considered beginner-friendly! The race starts and ends at the same place and will be timed by Clear Timing.

Team Registrations: LAST DAY TO REGISTER TEAMS IS 4/18/17!

For those wishing to create a team, follow these steps:

1. Appoint a TEAM CAPTAIN.

2. Have the team captain email Dino at perez.dino@gmail.com, with the list of complete names and shirt sizes of all team members. (If you need to add, remove or change team members this can all be done at packet pick-up.)

3. The Team Captain MUST be able to pick-up the team's bibs at packet pick-up.

 

Pricing is as follows:

Teams of 4-9 persons, $20 each.

Teams of 10 and above, $15 each.

 

I. Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-Up will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, from 9am-4pm. The complete address is 4652 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027.

ABSOLUTELY NO RACEDAY PACKET PICK UP!!!

Be prepared to show a valid form of ID when claiming your bib and shirt. Proxies may claim if you are unable to go during this day and time, as long as they have a picture of your driver's license. As for teams, captains may pick-up for the entire group.

II. Race Day Schedule:

Check-in 7:00 AM

Warm-Up at 7:30 AM

Race begins at 8:00 AM (Gun Start)

Refreshements will be provided for at the finish line. Each participant gets finisher Medals and a T-shirt. There will be prizes available for the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers. No Age division awards.

III. What to bring:

1. Running Shoes

2. Sunblock

3. Shades

4. Water / Electrolytes

5. Music 

6. Your running legs!

IV. How to Find the Venue (also see map in photos)

From the 5 southbound, exit Los Feliz (west) and make a right on Riverside. This is the entrance to the park. Keep going for about 1 mile and make a right to the Pote Baseball Field Area. (Before the Ranger Station and Merry Go Round.) Follow signs to the race.

From the 5 northbound, exit Los Feliz and make a left upon exit. Make a right on Riverside. This is the entrance to the park. Keep going for about 1 mile and make a right to the Pote Baseball Field Area. (Before the Ranger Station and Merry Go Round.) Follow signs to the race.

V. Parking

There is ample parking once you get to the venue. You may park anywhere along the stalls marked by the white paintmarks on the ground. These slots are all walking distance to the start line, just follow the music!
