WOCA's Power up for Purple is a one or two mile walk. The event is open to men, women, and children of all ages, and of all experience levels. Some participants run or walk in honor or memory of someone, some are survivors, and some just enjoy getting out and supporting an awesome cause!
Lets get FUNKY!!! Costumes/Retro wear are ENCOURAGED. AND a prize will be awarded for best dressed at each run/walk!!! Click Here for costume ideas!
TEAM INFORMATION: Teams are a great way to gather your friends and family! Teams are made up of 10 or more people. Discounts will be refunded once the team reaches 10 members. To get your team started click the Group/Teams button on the sidebar!!
PLEDGE PAGES/FUNDRAISING: Show additional support by raising pledges. Awards will be given to the top three pledge raising individuals to recognize you for your fundraising efforts. Start your fundraising page by visiting "Become a Fundraiser" under the Donate Button.
Course: Beginning and ending at Heritage Hill Education Center. This scenic 1 or 2 Mile Walk winds through a paved course, with a water stop.
Rules: Strollers, wheelchairs and dogs are all welcome. Styling up in teal is encouraged! Please note that dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
Award Categories: Awards will be given to the top pledge raiser, and to the team captain with the largest team! An award will also be given for best RETRO Costume!!!
