Event Description

Restrictions are being relaxed now, you can leave your house! Whoop dee doo!! Still can't go to Starbucks though.

So, we're introducing a brand new race destination - your backyard!

With plenty of distances to choose from (100K / 50 miler / 60K / 50K / Half Marathon - you don't have to run it all at once), there is a race for everyone!

And, the Staycation Races Backyard Ultras event promises to be our most exotic course yet! Wildlife? It's very possible. Obstacles? Sure, there might be. Waterfall? That's probably pushing it. (You could always get creative with the garden hose though.)

Raise money to support your local communities and we'll waive your race entry fee.

The “official” race day is June 20, 2020, but because this is a virtual race, you can run whenever and wherever you want. You’ll have until July 19, 2020 to register and raise money. Funds will be distributed to your selected organization by July 31, 2020.

Note: Staycation Races is a fun spin on Vacation Races while we are all hunkering down at home and unable to travel. Similarly, Don't Wander Project is a fun spin on Wander Project. Hopefully, this is a one-time thing and we'll all be back to traveling and running in the beautiful places we love very soon.
