Event Description

Although I'm starting to believe birthdays and time are actually an illusion... halfway through 2020 on July 1, I'm turning 30!

While we're all are doing our part to stop the spread, why not have something we can all look forward to, together?! 😊Let's celebrate this year by running/walking a 5k in our own neighborhoods, on the same day. If anything, we can at least celebrate that we've made it halfway through this absurd year.

Never ran a 5k? No problem! Walk it, scoot it, treadmill it, whatever you got in you!

We'll have prizes for the fastest, the slowest, and the best dressed. So, be sure to track your time & post a photo using the hashtag #growthgal5k

And, if you really want to get competitive, please reach out. I plan on training to improve my time over the next couple of months and am happy to share my plans with you. Impromptu virtual running club? Okay, now we're talking!

Proceeds from this race will be donated to Food Bank New York to help support the families of those hungry.
